Q. What Do We Mean by Digital Dictation?
A. Digital dictation is a method of recording and editing the speech in real-time for transcription and maximum intelligibility in a digital audio format. So, with TalkType Pro you will receive a digital voice recorder which can be used in the office or on the move to record your dictations.
Q. What Do We Mean By Automatic Transcription?
A. When you have a dictation recorded, or a even a number of dictations, the voice recorder is placed in its docking station (included). This is where the magic happens. Your dictations are then automatically transcribed from speech to text and appear as Microsoft Word documents.
These transcriptions can then be automatically (or manually) sent to your assistant where they can be aurally check. This can be achieved in minutes through the use of the the transcription kit (included). With the foot-pedal your assistant can play and stop the dictation whilst listening to it on headphones (also included). This enables your assistant to listen to your dictation and read the automatically transcribed document at the same time to ensures maximum accuracy in the fastest possible time.
If a correction needs to be made, TalkType Pro will learn the correction and will improve its already impressive accuracy.
Q. What Do We Mean By Voice Recognition?
A. This simply means software that turns speech to text. It also encompasses verbal commands that can be used to execute certain functions on your PC. The automatic transcription of your dictations (explained above) occurs through our state-of-the-art voice recognition software. Whilst the voice recognition software’s primary function is in transcribing your dictations, it can also be used to dictate emails and documents and generally to control your PC by voice.
